Mondays weekly, 6:30 pm meet at the Holladay Park Fountain (a/k/a the fountain in the center of "Holladay West" Park: between Lloyd Center and the MAX Station - NE 11th Ave & Holladay St.)
When a group rides together not knowing where they're going, all these experiences unfold -- things like flow, laughter, team, and that whoosh of being free AND connected as men on the move together. The mental and physcial activity of riding, along with the comaradie of the group, is a unique experience in combination with being part of a group is unique. It gets n easy-going group in motion puts us in touch with experiences in our bodies and hearts that are difficult to reproduce in modern culture. Perhaps they are akin in some strange ways to the experience of playing together in the wild. Perhaps it’s just the good old fashioned fun of boys playing together on bikes. Don’t worry, it’s not too daunting – we stop for dinner along the way for good food & conversation, and then we sometimes do a hot tub at Common Ground or the Kennedy School.
